Macedonians participants impressed us with the number of uploaded photos per person (Darko Nikolovski uploaded 1692 shots, Nikolina Hristovska – 1615, Raso mk – 1429). Thank you guys for showing us the magnificent nature of your country.

Users from Germany were also active. For example, Dr. Bernd Gross uploaded 1000 photos, Sangam – 956, Ragnar 1904 – 730.

Brazil and Pakistan demonstrated the biggest number of new user who have registered for the contest (Brazil – 1853, Pakistan – 1342).

Syrian wikimedians surprised us the most. The contest in the country still on the run but as for now 41% of the uploaded photos have been already used as illustrations for Wikipedia articles. That is impressive.

But this is only preliminary results. These results can be changed by the countries who still on the run.

  1. I was participant of photo contest “Wiki Loves Earth 2015” in Macedonia. And I have one question. The photo contest in Macedonia was held from 1-st of May to 31-st of May, but we have a conflict, whether the end of the competition is local time on May 31 or by time of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). I would ask you to reply to my mail: ncibrev@gmail.com
